Install

  1. Open the downloaded disk image.
  2. Drag Better Remote Helper to Applications.
  3. Open it from Applications and follow the permission steps.

Permissions

Input Monitoring recognizes system media-key events. Accessibility forwards Better Remote’s existing shortcuts to the frontmost app.

Privacy

The Helper listens only for media-key events. It has no network access, analytics, Apple TV credentials, or pairing data.
