Add them to Codex
- 01Download and unzip
Choose one pet or the combined bundle above.
- 02Open the pet folder
In Finder, press Command–Shift–G and enter
~/.codex/pets. - 03Move the extracted folder
Keep
pet.jsonandspritesheet.webptogether inside the named pet folder. - 04Refresh and choose
Open Settings → Pets, select Refresh, then choose your new companion.
Custom desktop pets are stored locally and do not automatically sync to ChatGPT web. See the official Pets guide.
