Better Battery

The new battery indicator is visually nice. It is also harder to read.

macOS 27 Golden Gate redesigns the menu bar battery indicator with an iOS-inspired percentage inside the battery. Better Battery restores at-a-glance legibility with a clear battery icon and percentage beside it.

Prefer Apple’s battery icon? Switch Better Battery to percentage-only mode and place it alongside the system indicator. Settings also show battery condition, maximum capacity, and cycle count.
