Better Battery

The new battery indicator is visually nice. It is also harder to read.

macOS 27 Golden Gate redesigns the menu bar battery indicator with an iOS-inspired percentage inside the battery. Better Battery restores at-a-glance legibility with a clear battery icon and percentage beside it.

Choose the modern macOS 27 battery or a classic outlined design, with the percentage clearly beside it. Better Battery can also show the percentage alone alongside Apple’s system indicator. Settings include separate charging and draining alerts, plus battery condition, maximum capacity, and cycle count.
