Open the sidebars
Apps live on the left. Now Playing details and controls live on the right.
Apps & favorites
Keep the good stuff close.
The Apps sidebar is your tidy shelf for the things you actually use.Open an app
Choose the left sidebar button, then select any app in the list.
Gather favorites
Control-click an app and choose Favorite App, or drag it above the divider.
Hide the clutter
Choose Edit at the bottom of the sidebar. Hidden apps remain visible while editing, so they are easy to restore.
Now Playing
Stay with what’s playing.

Open Now Playing for available artwork, title, playback position, and controls.
Continue on Mac
When Better Remote recognizes supported content, choose Open on Mac or select its linked title.
Send a media link
Open the TV menu, choose Open Media URL, paste a supported link, and choose Open.
Keyboard shortcuts
Keep your hands on the Mac.
Most shortcuts work while Better Remote is the active window. A global shortcut can bring it forward from anywhere.Navigate
Arrow keys move focus. Return selects. Delete goes back. H or Escape goes Home.
Watch
Space plays or pauses. Tab opens App Switcher. C opens Control Center. F opens Search.
Sound
Command-Plus and Command-Minus adjust available volume. Command-0 mutes.

Type comfortably. Switch easily.

Choose the keyboard button below the touch surface. Text entry can also appear when Apple TV requests it.
Choose another TV
Choose the TV name at the top of the remote, then select a device from the menu.
Add nicknames
TV Locations in Settings lets you name a network and give each TV a nickname.
